An important announcement from Atlas VPN

Dear Atlas VPN community member,

Following a thorough evaluation, the strategic decision has been made to discontinue Atlas VPN services effective April 24, 2024 (“Closing Day”). Atlas VPN users have been given the opportunity to transition to Atlas VPN’s sister company nordvpn S.A. (provider of NordVPN) and to avail of the NordVPN service for the remainder of their Atlas VPN subscription period. NordVPN is a leader in the cybersecurity industry, known for its robust security features, extensive server network, and exceptional service quality.

For Atlas VPN users: What you need to know

Premium Atlas VPN users

• Premium users' service has been transitioned to NordVPN. These users can now access all of the premium features of NordVPN at no additional cost until their current subscription expires. To ensure a seamless transition, an email from NordVPN was sent to premium users containing a link for creating a new password. Once users have created their password, they can log in and set up their NordVPN account. NordVPN will provide instructions on how to set up a new subscription if you wish to continue using NordVPN after your current subscription ends.

• If you subscribed to Atlas VPN through Google Play, the subscription is managed by the store to ensure a smooth transition to NordVPN. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Amazon, a refund was issued for the remaining duration of your Atlas VPN Premium subscription, and your Atlas VPN account was terminated on April 25, 2024 (App Store), and on May 17, 2024 (Amazon).

• Only the essential data necessary to set up your subscription with NordVPN was securely transferred to NordVPN. This includes your Atlas VPN Premium subscription duration and the email address you used to register your account.

• If you missed the opportunity to log in to your new account on NordVPN but your Atlas VPN subscription is still valid, don’t worry. Look for the NordVPN email with the account creation link in your email inbox – the link is valid until the end of your Atlas VPN subscription term. If you can’t find the link, contact the NordVPN support team using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Free Atlas VPN users

Free Atlas VPN user accounts were terminated on Closing Day. If you have been using the free version of Altas VPN, please check your email for more information about termination and special NordVPN discounts made available for Atlas VPN users upon termination of their Atlas VPN account.
